Provide some way to filter the SOURCE INSERT rule. This used to be done because the ADM Source Insert was a cranport package and could be filtered with a where clause. Now it's dynamically generated as static sql based on the field mapping.

OPTIONS:

Filter the SOURCE DATA in the Snapshot.

Create a VIEW of desired records and map off that view.

Add a WHERE CLAUSE to the primary source.

    There are 4 options to solve this which I would like to add into the UI as “options” that are fairly simple to understand.

    1 - Map from the Table - all rows/all columns
    2 - Map from a VIEW - Build a view in the SRC database to filter the data as needed.
    3 - Add a WHERE clause to filter the Table. This is the WHERE clause requested here.
    4 - Add a Full, Complex QUERY to use as the Source Table.


    While creating views is our normal pattern - we don’t usually do that in the SRC databases. Instead of making our users build that view in the database, allow them to specify the Query right here in the UI. Open to feedback, but this would give us infinite flexibility where needed.
